MicroSteps helps you complete ultra-small habit tasks. The App stores your task progress locally on your device. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or precise location.

The App processes the following information types:

• Local task data: Task lists, completion counts, and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
• Advertising identifiers: We use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show ads. AdMob may collect device information, advertising identifiers (such as AAID), and usage data to provide and personalize ads. See AdMob’s policy for details.
• Crash and performance data (platform-provided): Your device and OS may collect anonymized diagnostics. We do not operate our own analytics backend.

How We Use Information

• Provide core features: Maintain your daily tasks and completion progress locally.
• Show ads: Serve banner and interstitial ads through AdMob to support the App.
• Notifications: Display local notifications about your current task while the app runs in the background.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data. Ad delivery is provided by Google AdMob, which may process data as an independent controller according to its policies.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and not directed to children under the age applicable in your jurisdiction. If your app targets children or mixed audiences, please configure AdMob accordingly and review Google’s policies.

Your Choices

• Ad personalization: You may manage ad personalization through your device settings and Google’s Ads settings.
• Local data: You can clear the App’s storage from your device settings to reset tasks and history.
• Notifications: Control notification permissions in your device’s system settings.

Security

Your task data is stored locally on your device. We use platform security features and store only minimal data needed for functionality.

International Use

The App can be used globally. AdMob may process data across regions in accordance with its policies and applicable laws.
